Breast lift

The best thing we do is to keep our teeth intact if we regularly go to the dentist for inspection or tartar.

Cosmetics and non-invasive cosmetic procedures – botox, wrinkle replenishment, exfoliation, etc. – are no longer a satisfactory solution beyond a certain point. In this case, plastic surgery can be considered, which can correct the softening of the muscles and skin. Our plastic surgeon will consult you in person, explain the techniques you can use, and use your references to show you the best outcome you can expect if you opt for facial surgery.

When is surgery justified?

As many people as time leaves our faces in the way. Some are more characterized by thin wrinkles, others by deeper grooves or even sagging contours.

Preparations

Before having a facial examination, you must undergo a full examination. In our institute, we perform all the tests in one place at the same time, so we make this process as convenient as possible for you. In addition to lab tests, we occasionally take ECG and X-ray scans, and our anesthesiologist doctor requires a consultation. Your plastic surgeon will inform you of the lifestyle recommendations you find temporarily appropriate so that you can heal under optimal conditions after the procedure.

The course of facelift surgery

Since the chosen technique of facial surgery depends on the age of the patient, the condition of his skin, the depth of his wrinkles, in general we can say that between 35 and 55 years of age, in the vernacular, we usually use only a correction of the middle face (MACS Lift facelift) over the age of 55, and it is likely that a full face and neck surgery will be required.

During the MACS Lift, the plastic surgeon make incisions in front of the ear and in the temporal region, then corrects the slid soft tissues, adapting the sagging mimic muscles to them.

When it comes to a complete facelift, not only in front of the ear, but also behind it there is an incision, as well as in the scalp with the hair, led sideways and under the chin. Then the muscles are put back into their original state, or excess skin is excisioned. This plastic surgery can also be combined with eyelid surgery and wrinkle replenishment. The intervention in anaesthesia usually takes 2-3 hours. Our plastic surgeon uses only absorbable sutures throughout, thus sparing you from any inconvenience associated with subsequent suture picking.

Recovery, post-treatment

After the facelift, you will spend 36 hours in our hospital, where you can relax in a pleasant and demanding environment. You will need to wear the special fastening bandage for the next seven days. In the first two weeks, it is important to avoid any strenuous physical activity, after which you can gradually return to your previous rhythm, after three weeks light exercise is allowed. The solarium is contraindicated for sunbathing and the sauna for two months. Our plastic surgeon will call you back for a check-up on days 7 and 14 and week 6 and 12. Visible scars heal in about 6 months, subcutaneous ones in about 2 years.

After a facelift, there is little chance of complication, if there is a complication, possible wound infection, blood and whey build-up, keloids scar formation.
